That's what tabloids do. When a nasty/negative article is posted on a major site, it can have an impact on many levels, such as dissuading prospective customers from purchasing products, and playing into the hands of institutional traders and hedge funds who are looking to knock down the share price of a publicly traded company (AAPL). Yes, this s#@t does happen. Brain X. Chen and Wired must understand that hit pieces like this will be held up to scrutiny. There were some serious problems with Brian's "Japanese hate iPhone" story and I believe the criticism of the article and Wired was justified. That said, I wish Brian well in his career. We live and learn from our mistakes. That goes for yours truly too ...
